Vash returns by his side, flashing him an embarrassed smile. Seeing him naked in these circumstances is certainly preferable to the humiliating way he revealed himself in front of the whole town that welcomed him, but Wolfwood stays focused on Vash’s face, the sourness of those events still too heavy on his tongue to indulge in the sight.
He’d wonder how a man’s self-worth can sink this low, if it wouldn’t be so hypocritical of him—and Vash didn't look like he cared, anyway.

It isn’t strange until you think about it by IvyBlossom
Sherlock needs to “not be a virgin” for a case so he resorts to Grindr as a solution. John is horrified at the thought of Sherlock in that situation and offers himself up instead, Sherlock agrees without complaint and decides that it will happen “tonight”. This ‘de-virgin-ing’ of Sherlock happens several times over the next week until John finds out that the case was actually solved just before the afore mentioned “tonight” happened. John isn’t phased- cue fluffy ending -

Another Auld Lang Syne by DiscordantWorlds
Sherlock goes on a chase alone at Christmas and almost drowns in the Thames, John saves his life. Cue a christmas party, a job interview in Bristol and the uncovering of years of denial. Both boys come to their senses on New Year’s Eve and John literally runs home to kiss Sherlock at midnight- irregardless of storms and train delays.
