“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Jake teases, a small smile finding its way on to his face. He watches as Heeseung quirks an eyebrow and then he lips are curling into a full fledged smirk.
“You’re right. I would,” Heeseung responds, and then, “How about this? I play a game of Craps. If I win, you come up to my presidential suite and spend the night with me,” his voice is dripping with arousal, thick and heady with it. Jake feels something stir in his gut.

Summary
“Hello,” Jake softly says, as a way to not scare the alpha. It doesn’t work, because he lets out a squeak and drops the book that he’s holding, hand coming up to clutch at his chest. He looks up from his crouched position and Jake tries not to coo.
His name tag is clipped onto his apron, and Jake’s eyes roam over it.
Heeseung. It’s written delicately and decorated with flowers surrounding it. It’s so cute, Jake’s heart tightens like a tightrope.
“Uh…” Heeseung lets out, eyes refusing to meet Jake’s as they flit nervously across the room. He backs up into the bookshelf like he’s scared Jake is going to hurt him.

“When we first met,” Heeseung speaks carefully, words slow, “I— I imprinted on you, Jake.”
They stare at each other, Heeseung’s bated breaths coming out shakily as he waits for Jake to say something, like he just revealed a secret as deeply plaguing as murder.
“Oh, um,” Jake blinks, “What does that mean?”
When Jake finally got his own house, one deep in the forest of his hometown, he was expecting for his closest neighbors to be a mile away. But he wasn’t expecting for them to be… special.
Not humans, but ‘shifters’ they had said. A ‘pack,’ as they told him, after Jake stumbled across a wolf too big to be anything other than supernatural in his backyard. None of it was expected; especially for their leader to look eerily similar to a boy Jake knew when he was young.
