Summary
“Speaking of this beat up old ship,” Jongho starts, considering. “You’ve got to give her a name now.”
Seonghwa hums thoughtfully, tilting his head. He takes in the multicolored sails, pulled from scraps and made into something new, the threads shining in the growing sunlight. He watches the colors paint the sky—pink and orange and purple and blue, making way for a new day, a new journey for their strange little trio.
“How about…The Aurora?”
—
In a world where the land and the sea are at war, Park Seonghwa comes to the abrupt realization that the hunters he’s trained under for most of his life, as well as the system they fight for, are nowhere near as just as he had thought. His decision to run ends up bringing him to a beat up little ship, and his own humble crew of a merman, a runaway naval officer, and eventually, Hongjoong—a jaded pirate with a strange curse who ends up being enough of a handful all on his own.
Taking the strange man onto his ship, as unconventional as it is, gives him more than he could have ever bargained for—and it’s only the beginning of their long journey.

Summary
His blood rushes in his ears as he pulls the cardboard flaps back, as he removes the bit of bubble wrap from the top, as he pulls out the cute little ziploc bag with a Kuromi print all over it. Seonghwa certainly admires how Hongjoong has gone all out on the presentation. If it weren’t for the sheer black fabric he could see beyond the plastic the package would be entirely unassuming.
But Seonghwa can see it, and he knows what’s in this bag. Has been thinking about it ever since it arrived no matter how much he’s tried to push the thoughts away, and now after denying himself for so long he doesn’t think he can wait even another second.
Or; Hongjoong has been selling his used underwear for some extra cash, so being the supportive friend that he is, Seonghwa buys a pair. Or two. Or three.

Summary
“W-what are you doing back?” Hongjoong stutters out, grabbing the soiled pillow to hide behind, mind searching frantically for any sort of explanation to give for what he’s just been caught doing.
There’s no point. Who knows how long Seonghwa has been standing there—how much he’s seen? There’s not a single thing Hongjoong could say other than: “Yeah, I actually was livestreaming myself getting off all over the pillows you sleep on every night, wearing your clothes and moaning your name. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you.”
Or; Camboy Hongjoong decides to switch things up for his stream, and Seonghwa of course has to walk in on him and change the trajectory of their friendship forever.

Summary
"Oh my God." Hongjoong cut him off with a laugh. "You actually think you're the good guy, don't you?"
Why wouldn't he be the good guy? Yunho didn't say anything, but his confusion must have shown on his face.
"If you win this war, history might remember you as the good guy," Hongjoong said with a raw, painful rage in his voice. He lowered the gun a bit and stepped closer to Yunho, just a step away. "But I know the truth. You're not the good guy, hero."
"Yunho," he corrected without thinking. "Lieutenant Jeong Yunho."
Hongjoong stared him down for a moment, then leaned even closer. "I don't know why you think I care what your name is."
