Summary
Dr. Sage McClaren has gotten used to the ways of Affini by now. An independent xenobotanist working with them every day he thinks he’s cracked the code to domestication: be a gay man. Kind of. Following a whirlwind of conversations that bring a fair bit of floret fantasies and fears to the surface, he meet Cyprassi, a male-presenting Affini who to his surprise- wants to get to know HIM. What follows is a whirlwind of broken preconceptions, internalized transphobia, obsessions and compulsions, and a whole lot of unpacking. All while building a relationship with this Affini that’s quickly becoming the greatest friend he’s ever had.

Summary
Set in GlitchyRobo's Human Domestication Guide setting, and in the Lin Ralazinziq timeline, after The Fall of Abundance. It spoils a minor detail from the end of To Seek What They Sought, which I consider inconsequential at this point, and necessarily shows the post-domestication life of the floret introduced in that story and continued in Walk Between Worlds. It does not spoil the mainline plot of Lin Ralazinziq. It is a fresh entry point, and does not require any of the previous stories to understand (though Walk requires the rest of Lin Ralazinziq to understand, if you want to read it to see how the floret in this story ended up like she is).
There are beeple who have been around long before the Affini took over the terran accord.
There are beeple who have been around long before the Affini reached the Milky Way.
There are beeple who have been around for far, far longer than that.
And there are Affini who still live who have domesticated them.
Their methods do not resemble that of the youngblooms at the frontier.

Summary
Three years ago, a Terran stuck in the quagmire of the Terran Accord first saw a broadcast from the Affini Compact - just before the Accord declared outright war.
Now, the Compact is on Terra. The Terran's "war" was less than a pipedream. Giant alien plants, hellbent on turning humans into pets, have arrived promising liberation from the Accord's woes.
That Terran, after waiting three long years, finally gets the chance to flee the suffering they had to endure under the Accord. Spirited away aboard the Large Command Ship Raptifolia, this Terran is thrust into a very different world, uprooting from their old, painful existence and transplanted into a new one.
As much as they want that to be the end of it, though, the Affini Compact sees beyond the facade of satisfaction they present. The Terran has assumptions that must be broken yet - assumptions about their gender, their body, their community, and their very self. In the depths of the great Quartzcavern, the various Affini that touch this Terran's life will pry the truth of the sophont out from the wounded shell they hide within - whether the Terran wants it or not.

Summary
When the Affini deem Aviary ZL1 unsafe, all the inhabitants are moved aboard the Xylifoliaen for transport to new, safer homes. Seri’s been aboard for three weeks now, doing fairly well, in her opinion. She has a hab, she has food, and most importantly, she isn’t dead. Unfortunately, the Affini seem to find the bare minimum far from acceptable.
