Summary
One month after the shooting, Robby is back on his feet... at least physically. Emotionally, everything feels wrong.
Recovery for Robby brings back old insecurities and brings new ones. His decision of staying in the hospital instead of going home left Dennis feeling unwanted and useless. Between PTSD, pressure at work, financial troubles, and the fear that he is only “borrowing” Robby’s life and future brings for the young intern a new wave of stress, that no one realizes how much harm can be done until it turns dangerous.
With therapy on the table and their relationship far from what they expected to be, they are forced to ask some questions, not knowing with certainty the answer.

Sooooo good! We needed this, they needed this. I’m a sucker for overprotective Robby! And I loved how he brought the pathologist just to really show Taylor that it wasn’t neglect towards the literally attempted murderer. And the way he was stern with her about Dennis, I loved it!
The spicy scene was so sweet, and felt right for where they are in their relationship. Specifically Dennis not pushing Robby and making him feel comfortable. -

Summary
“Heads up, someone’s coming down from pedes to take a look at our baby Jane Doe.” Dana says, phone tucked between her ear and shoulder. Robby feels his entire body stiffen.
“Oh?” He says, trying to go for casual as he leans up against the desk. He looks up at the glowing board above the two of them, scanning for his patients. “Do we know who?”
Dana levels a look at him as she hangs up the phone, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“The one and only.” She glances over at the black thermos sitting innocently next to them, a bright yellow sticker faded with some age, corners curling, with bold letters saying ‘good job’.
“Ah. Right.”
