Summary
All things considered, it was a pretty cute, sort of pathetic sight in its own right. The galaxy’s Pathfinder, the one single-handedly spearheading the Initiative, in all her glory, reduced to this fumbling mess, too scared to admit she needed company, too stubborn to be honest. And damn, did it remind Peebee of herself.

“So Amity, I know it’s like…” Luz looks at an invisible watch on her wrist, “Late, but you said you haven’t eaten and I was totally on my way to get fast food and if you wanted to come with you’re more than welcome.” Luz smiles, “It’s not too far from here.”
Amity takes a short look at her phone before answering to see a preview of a text from Boscha before responding to Luz faster than she can fully think about the decision, “Yes please.” Amity pushes herself off of the bench and says “Lead the way, Luz.”
