Algún efecto extraño tenían en él el glamour, la decadencia, el vestuario, el escenario, la música y el anonimato. Pero sobre todo, las miradas de los clientes y disfrutar de sus atenciones le hacía sentir cierto poder sobre ellos.

Hades is head of the Italian mafia. Poseidon is head of the yakuza. Zeus is head of the bratva. The three have divided the US pretty evenly among themselves.
When Zeus gets greedy, Hades sends his son to negotiate a partnership with the yakuza to teach Zeus some boundaries.
For that, Nico approaches the son of Poseidon - Percy Jackson, the best and most efficient killer the yakuza have.

When Styx offers to save Percy down in Tartarus, no price seems too big for Nico to ensure the survival of the boy he loves.

“I still don’t get what your problem with Percy is,” Jason sighs, as they walk through the castle grounds. The ground is white, and there’s a thin layer of snow on all the marble columns. “He’s been the most popular member of court since he arrived! The maids and even some of the other knights are always fawning over him.”
Nico just furrows his brows and looks away. “I just don’t like him, okay?” Sir Percy has done nothing but mock him since he arrived at the castle, how could he?
“Well, I hope you can get along, because you’re really the only ones I can trust with this quest.” Jason slaps Nico in the back, smiling. “Who knows, maybe you’ll even become friends.”
Or in which Nico and Percy are both Knights of the Realm, and Jason decided to send them off to find some stupid flowers.
