She looked up to see a tanned man, probably at least a foot taller than her. He had messy hair, which was bleached, but his brown roots were growing back. His apron was stained with flour and what looked like espresso shots. Brown eyes stared into her soul, as if he knew her.
Wait.
“Oh, alright, thanks!” smiled Christine.
