Summary
I’m tired of bad Hades/Persephone retellings, so I’m taking matters into my own hands. This fic focuses on Persephone as a powerful woman in mythology and on Hades as the quiet man he was historically depicted as. I am taking some heavy liberties with the character depictions and apologize if it diverges too much from original sources, but I think Persephone deserves to be the very complicated character she is and also to be a little ape shit.
Inspired by Kiki Rockwell’s ‘From Persephone’ but the song is not a part of the fic, just very pretty and you should all listen to it.

Summary
Grace’s “Spring Break” from teaching the Eridians is cut short when the Eridian scientists dump a feral new human on the beach of his habitat.
Simon and Grace need to contend with their similar traumas, the implications of the Quiet Rapture and humanity’s disappearance, the knowledge that it’s been over 300 years since Grace left earth, and the growing tension between them.
Turns out when you are stuck in an alien bubble with the only other human left that you know of and you start to catch feelings.. things can get a little explosive.
Bonus: Simon teaches the Eridians a whole load of new human expletives.
