“Zack, look,” Tyler mumbled.
“At what, man?” Zack put his phone away before he looked in Tyler’s direction and noticed that he was pointing up at the Jumbotron.
He looked where Tyler was pointing and noticed that Kiss Cam was showing himself and Tyler inside of the heart frame.

“See? Dork!”
Zack, however, did step forward and grab the collar of Tyler’s shirt. Tyler responded by bringing his hands up to cup Zack’s face. They shared a brief look that Zack couldn’t even begin to describe before they leaned into one another and connected their lips.
The kiss didn’t last entirely too long—maybe ten or fifteen seconds—but Zack still felt a warmth inside his chest when he and Tyler pulled apart from each other. His chest was warm and his brain was feeling fuzzy because of how many things were running through it.

Tyler scoffed, which inadvertently turned into a couple of coughs. When he regained his composure, he rolled his eyes at Zack. “Not like I haven’t seen you naked before, Zachary.”
“Being horny when you’re sick isn’t the greatest feeling,” Zack deadpanned as he gave Tyler a pointed look. “And you know how much I hate being called that, jackass.”
Tyler went to raise his hands in surrender but he quickly dropped them to his stomach when it twisted in a violent bout of nausea. He inhaled and exhaled a couple of times to try and counteract the pain. All that succeeded in doing was making the muscles in his abdomen tighten more, leading to another violent wave of nausea.

Zack’s heart stuttered again, this time skipping a few more beats than it did before. He let out a shaky sigh as he felt some tears prickle the corners of his eyes.

Kyle gave a half-hearted smile in return, bringing his free hand up and running it down his face. Sighing, Kyle looked at Father Scheifele. His half-hearted smile had switched to a looked of pure nervousness. He ran his hand along one of his pant legs before he finally mustered up the courage to speak.
