The response makes him want to scoff. It only makes him want to be more of an inconvenience to the king, as a form of petty revenge for plucking him out of his comfortable life and ruining his future. Surely the mad man could only take so many snarky remarks and cold cups of coffee before he sends Phainon away to live in a lonely citadel far from the city, right?
He continues keeping up his pleasant smile, before nodding, keeping his pleasant smile on his lips. “Thank you, Lord Krateros. That is a comforting thought.”
