There was another scent trying to hide as well. More metallic that Dennis couldn’t place. Either way, Dennis had to pull the zipper down a bit so he didn’t drown in the smell. It made his focus go all wonky.
It was only a matter of time before the paper Dennis filled out after joining the Pitt made its use. He hoped it would never happen. Of course, Murphy's Law loved to make Dennis its regular victim. Maybe he should have made more friends before it happened otherwise he wouldn't end up stuck in a room with Jack Abbot to fuck him.

Jack could see Robby cycle through the possible excuses he could offer. The Rolodex of defenses coming up empty was almost a comical sight. The man, the myth, the legend, Michael Robinavitch was unable to think of a convincing lie.
He tried anyway. "I-um-I drank coffee?" It was supposed to be a declaration, but Robby's pitch tilted up at the end.
Jack crooked his head to the side. "After two pm? I thought we weren't doing that anymore." Robby had no answer. He opened and closed his mouth a couple times. Jack marched on. "I know you don't drink water on shift. If you went at three, you should be able to make it through dinner without too much fuss. Unless…" Unless you were lying. Unless you drank coffee recently and ruined your sleep schedule. Unless you went all shift without peeing. Unless you disobeyed my direct fucking orders.
Robby shook his head at all the implications. "No…" His bladder pulsed, but nevertheless, Robby insisted, "I can wait."
