Reader is a masculine presenting lesbian who just recently passed the firefighter academy and decides to have a celebratory night with her friends. She had initially intended to be a wing woman for one of her best friends but what happens when the woman her friend wants, wants reader instead? A lot of questioning feelings arise in reader and so she simply runs away from the woman. If she doesn't see her again, then she can forget about everything that had happened and how the woman made her question herself and everything that society typically expects from masculine lesbians. Everything that she thought about herself. She'll never see the woman again anyways...

“You think they’ll stop to listen if I skip over the bridge with a half-dead officer cuffed to me?”
You smile wanly, despite yourself. “Workplace accident?”
For a split second you almost imagine the edge of her mouth quirks up, but then the moment is gone and she is standing, pulling your arm over her broad shoulders.
“We aren’t going topside,” is all she says as her free arm sweeps your legs.
“You can’t just--”
“You don’t really have a choice,” she cuts you off, “you’re the one that cuffed yourself to me, you’re lucky you still have both of your hands.”TD;DR: You and Sevika get handcuffed together and have to traipse around the undercity looking for a solution while also trying to maintain some semblance of dignity (to varying degrees of success).
