Richie liked stamps.
He was a bit of a collector, although he'd deny it if he was ever asked. A habit he'd picked up when he was little was covering his favourite objects in them; a mosaic of serrated edges and prints of painted patterns.
Stamps were sentimental to Richie, as ridiculous as he knew that sounded. He only ever put them on things he never intended to lose, like some sort of ritual ensuring he kept whatever item it was that he'd deemed to be of such great importance.
OR: It's Valentine's day, and Eddie opens his locker to a stamp-covered love letter, signed by an anonymous secret admirer.

He was glad for it, don't get him wrong. Of course he was. He had a soulmate! Someone who was made just for him, who would love him unconditionally, and he in return. He looked back down at his soulmark, reminding himself what it symbolized, what it represented, what it meant, and admittedly, felt a little better.
God, did it have to look so much like a dick though?
Richie was never going to let him hear the end of this.

“Mike.” Will shifts his attention to the boy they’re talking about who’s talking to the others with his hands in his pockets. “he’s always like tilting his head like a stupid dog. Sort of like a Border Collie.” He can see the resemblance of Mike being a dog. His clinginess around Will always wanting to have skin to skin contact with him at all times

“Yeah..” Will trails off, eyes pinched together in curiousity. “Like a dumb dog.”
