Back from the dead, dunked in the Lazarus Pit and then shaped by the League of Assassins and the All-Caste, Red Hood is no longer Robin, or a villain, or a hero. He is something sharper. More violent. More controlled. A weapon that jokes in the face of death and bleeds sarcasm like second nature. He keeps Gotham at arm’s length, and his family even farther. But he never truly leaves them. In the shadows of Crime Alley, Jason works alone, eliminating threats before they reach the Batfamily, disappearing before they can thank him, and pretending he doesn’t care when they try to pull him back home. Dick reaches out with patience. Tim with quiet understanding. Damian with reluctant respect. Bruce with the kind of silence that hurts more than anger. Jason refuses all of it.
