Summary
Her spiraling thoughts were stopped by the harsh push of her bully, making her head bang against the wall she was sneakily using as a hiding spot from your gaze. The bully laughed, a mocking and arrogant laugh that made Nina's expression grow annoyed, the anger she felt earlier fading in the background, perhaps mixing with it.
She took in a deep breath,
This is fine...
She thought, it was fine.
she would handle this like she handled everything else, but she would make sure that the warning was loud and clear that time.
(GENUINELY WHY IS THERE NO NINA THE KILLER FIC (╥﹏╥) )

Summary
Simon Riley was now a way long forgotten memory:
He suffered, he fought till his body couldn't hold itself together anymore, till he was the only one left in the battlefield. Tired, at his limit, too exhausted for tears.
Simon Riley was dead, except that all of his scars were still etched onto his skin, except that the past he wanted to forget still hunted him down, like escaping from the enemy with no strength in your body and being held back by the ankle, leaving you panting and unable to grasp a single breath.
All the pain that Simon Riley had endured kept resurfacing and jabbed at his heart, the powerful hit of a dagger cutting straight through his chest, digging deeper and deeper as if it felt some kind of twisted pleasure in leaving him feeling so vulnerable and open.
Why hadn't Simon Riley died when he had died too? Why couldn't he stay dead?
Manchester, the betrayals, the tortures the exhaustion, the sweat, the blood—
They were the past.
So, why was the past still clawing at him? He wasn't Simon Riley.

Summary
Kyle was part of the security troopers guarding the port of Long Beach, working there as his first job experience.
It was night, he mostly worked night shifts. Surprisingly enough, everything was still at night at the port, just the calming sea waves lulling his sleep deprived brain. He wasn't new to sleepless nights, but it was boring...nights stretched impossibly longer lately, and all the missed sleep hours were catching up on him.
He fell asleep without meaning to, he sat against one of the pillars, cap hiding his face.
About a hour later, he felt a presence. It wasn't unpleasant, it had an aura rolling off in waves that comforted him, spurred on him to sleep even further...but when his baseball cap was carefully being lifted, he cracked an eye open.
Who was it?
