Julia didn’t look at you anymore for the rest of the night unless she had to. You could tell she was tired, and for a while, you noticed she had even fallen asleep. Julia may have been avoiding eye contact with you, but you continued to feel someone staring at you.
For a moment, you looked in the back of the Tavern, and you could have sworn you saw the blonde from earlier staring at you, analyzing you. But as soon as you blinked away, she was in the middle of a conversation once more, paying you no attention.
You could feel the air getting heavy in the Tavern, and you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were unsafe. You felt like you were being sized up by something that was on the verge of pouncing.
