У Мидея болит голова. Обычная боль, с которой легко справиться, если не обращать внимания. Но что ещё хуже — растерянность из-за затруднительной ситуации. Воспоминания в посмертии обычно имеют склонность к варьированию. Почему теперь он всегда видит Фаенона?
— Иди нахер, — хрипло отвечает Мидей. Ему кажется, что он сходит с ума.
Или же другими словами: мозг способен жить ещё несколько минут после смерти, проигрывая самые бережно хранимые воспоминания. Мидей начинает видеть Фаенона в посмертии каждый раз.
