“Don’t act like you haven’t noticed the way she looks at you. I’m certain you can find some way to calm her down.” Vander waved unperturbedly, walking off towards his office, but flashing her a kind smile before disappearing.
Vi, of course, had not noticed the way Caitlyn looked at her. Until now, she hadn’t considered the fact that she could often feel Caitlyn’s eyes on her, but only until Vi looked back. She hadn’t considered that the pink on her cheeks was anything to do with her, hadn’t considered that the smile she always offered Vi was more shy and sincere than she offered to anyone else.
What Vi had noticed was that her breath would always catch when Caitlyn started singing, that her tongue felt too thick in her mouth when she spoke to her, and she couldn’t help but feel a flutter in her chest when she was on the receiving end of a smile. She also cursed herself for noticing the sway in her hips to the rhythm, the curves of her body in her jumpsuit…
‘Find some way to calm her down’… Vi flushed at what he may have meant by that.

Summary
They both looked and acted so different to when they were eighteen. It’s intimidating to reconnect with someone she used to be close to. Nothing more.
Taking a breath and telling herself she’s being an idiot, she stepped outside, clutching the vase to her chest. As she walked over to the fountain, of course, the gravel beneath her feet betrayed her. Vi looked behind her to see Caitlyn walking to the fountain with a vase, briefly making eye contact with her. Internally cursing, she kept her gaze fixed to the floor, as if it was incredibly interesting. But she knew Vi had got up and was walking in her direction.

After coming back from University Caitlyn finds herself distanced from Vi, despite being close in childhood. Vi discovers something significant about their feelings toward each other.

Only in Night City can Vi have gone from an orphan on the street, using nothing but her fists to keep her and her sister alive, to having a family who loves her, making good money as a merc, and spending her free time enjoying the end of her twenties - drinking, taking girls home, and living the best life has to offer for someone like her in a city like this.
But the City of Dreams has its own slew of problems - political corruption and gang violence to name just a few. Vi's newest gig touches all of it and has her crossing paths with a mysterious netrunner, Caitlyn, who turns out to be much more than Vi could have ever prepared for.
Aka: CaitVi in the universe of Cyberpunk - inspired specifically by Cyberpunk 2077, but you don't need knowledge of the game to enjoy!

Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

Caitlyn's route to work as a detective at the 51st Precinct takes her right by Fire Station #516, and Vi's been pining after the gorgeous Mystery Woman for six months...what will happen when she finds out that Caitlyn's a cop (AKA: The Enemy)?

"Piltie Season" (slang) noun. Summer time, when the rich tourists from Piltover and the mainland descend on the island of Zaun trying to escape their city demons in their lavish oceanside vacation homes, soaking up sun, sand, and hopefully enough iced cold brew to keep the local coffee roaster in business so she can keep her own family above water.

I just really wanted to write a horny summer beach coffee AU with some plot thrown in so I could keep it going :)

Summary
After an impromptu conversation with Caitlyn's parents, Vi finds herself accompanying Caitlyn to her winter-home in Holdrum for a whole week. It's the first time Vi has ever been outside the city gates, the trip is fully-paid for and she'll get to be with Caitlyn the whole time.
The problem? They have to pretend that they're dating and hopelessly in love with each other the whole time.
For Vi, she won't really have to pretend.
