Summary

Soap’s hands pull further at the fabric, kissing further up Ghost’s throat, licking at the leftover sweat that’s housed itself there on Ghost’s skin, tongue dragging along skin until there’s a growl coming from Ghost’s lips.
“Careful, Johnny.” Ghost warns, voice low, almost a whisper, rough and sounding dry. He gives a warning because he wants to see Soap’s reaction, wants to see how he takes it, how he’ll play his cards.
“Why?” Soap responds, genuine curiosity in his voice, though playful, “Afraid you might lose control, Simon?” The name rolls off his tongue, teeth pinching at the skin of Ghost’s neck again, licking over the red patch that grows irritated in result.

He’d had Ghost’s voice pouring into his ear for hours, somehow rough and smooth and smoky all at once, like the kind of Scotch he couldn’t really afford. Soap makes bad choices, no one knows when banter crosses the line into flirting, and their comms definitely shouldn't be used like that. Somehow, despite themselves, they make it work.

Ghost couldn’t remember much of the last few days' events. Much less the past week. It started with the usual inability to sleep, nightmares worsening leading up to a mission with MacTavish. Flashes of Las Almas, the silent moments when he radioed in and didn’t hear Soap’s response, of what it would have been like if he never responded. Trying to find his body in the streets, falling into that shallow grave.
Sometimes his mind got creative, and instead of Vernon’s corpse beside him, it was Johnny. Cold, lifeless eyes staring him down in the dark. Those ones were the worst.Or
Ghost gets sick and Soap is pissed but will do his best to take care of him.

Summary
Of course, Ghost wasn't blind to Soap's little crush on him. In fact, he relished in it sometimes. At first, he told himself that it was nothing and he wouldn't let himself get too far into it, afraid of letting the other man get too attached and get too attached himself, but he wasn't expecting how much he enjoyed teasing reactions out of the other man.
He wasn't expecting how much he absolutely loved how he was the only one who could make Soap blush from just a few suggestive words.

Eddie Munson awoke in the Upside Down to find not only that he had been left behind, but that something was… very wrong with him. He scrambles to find the only familiarity he can in hopes it will lead him to someone who will know how to help. Or, at least, assure him that he’s really alive.
This fic starts right after the events with Vecna, beginning that night and continuing into the two day time skip. This is a mirrored fic with @outofmygourd 's fic "Make Me Feel Like I Am Breathing". This is Eddie's POV, they are writing Steve's POV. We intended for the reader to alternate between chapters while reading (for example, read my chapter one, then read their chapter one, and continue on like that. or vice versa.) This is not necessary, if you would prefer to wait and read all of one you totally can, but things will make more sense if you read both POVs the way we intended.
