Fanfic version of the tumblr post by sidsinning: "God AU where every year, the village chooses a sacrifice/bride to give to the god of fire to appease him, so he won’t destroy their land. Kagami is the chosen sacrifice but her family pays Marinette to be secretly offered in her place bc they look similar. Marinette’s family is poor, and she cares for her village, so she takes them up on their offer.
She successfully gets “sacrificed” and appears to her god…
