The internet is less convinced.
What starts as carefully curated “soft launch” breadcrumbs by the pair quickly becomes a full-scale fandom investigation, as Instagram captions, candid photos, and entirely normal interactions are dissected into something resembling a conspiracy board with emotional intelligence. Between hockey games, foundation work, and increasingly suspicious shared glances, nothing about their relationship stays on-ice for long.
...And Harris Drover should probably be paid extra for this.

Yuna Hollander inexplicably develops a soft spot for her sons rival. In a random hallway in Los Angeles during the MHL draft in 2009. A soft spot that she works very hard on covering up over the next 8 or so years. Sometimes talking about him a little too ridiculously, or a little too much, afraid that it'll be extremely obvious if she breathes even one small compliment about him. Afraid someone will find out that she had seen something that day that brought out a fierce protectiveness in her, even if Ilya wasn't hers to protect. Shane could never know.
