It’s minutes before their opening time when the first customer steps in.
They're still standing by the door, though Tanjirou is too busy fetching his apron from under the counter and throwing it on haphazardly to take a good look at them. He breathes in deep after it’s properly tied behind his back, pauses when he catches the scent of cologne laced with the smell of fresh bread permeating the air, and lets it sit in his lungs as he finally looks up.
Just past the threshold is possibly the most beautiful man Tanjirou has ever seen in his life.
