Summary
It's been one year since The Promised Day and Riza Hawkeye is still coming to terms with the fact that she survived. When she gets an ominous note from the mayor of her tiny hometown to the East, she takes some time off work for the first time in recent memory; however, separation anxiety, a string of burglaries targeting the estates of well-known alchemists, and old memories brought to the surface stand between her and a relaxing trip to the country. It’s all well and good to remember what it is to have a future until she’s faced with the ghosts of her past.

Summary
“I think they’re about to start-” Mustang was saying, but was interrupted by a loud pop, and a bright display of color and crackling out over the city. Mesmerized, Riza drifted through the room and out the open glass doors to what was admittedly a very nice patio. It was large, with a iron-wrought table and chairs near the doors, a few potted plants, and an actual sofa towards the other end. Bypassing the furniture entirely, she walked to the rail and settled her elbows on it to wait for the next eruption.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” she breathed, as Roy came to stand next to her, elbow barely brushing hers.

Summary
Ed tried not to think of it as a date, but it sure felt like it when he considered all the facts.
Fact one: his tie matched the color of her dress exactly. Fact two: he was the one who had received the invitation by virtue of knowing Havoc. They were 'Edward Elric and guest'. And fact three: as they made their way from the main road down to the clearing where the reception was being held, she evidently thought nothing of casually looping her arm through his, her free hand resting lightly on his bicep as she talked to him.

Summary
Captain Riza Hawkeye is sent to Briggs to be guarded by the Northern Wall after a threat is made on her life. On her trek to the north, however, her train is overturned in the snow by terrorists who want to use her to force General Roy Mustang into pulling his Ishval reconstruction project. General Olivier Armstrong, knowing more attempts will be made on the captain’s life if something isn’t done, proposes a plan: Riza will fake her death and go undercover to tear this extremist group apart from the inside.
