Summary
Dean’s masters, Michael and Lucifer, have killed each other. It’s not exactly out of character for them, but it means that their omega-pet changes hands with the rest of their property, inherited by their younger brother Castiel, an Alpha who has never wanted a pet and who doesn’t want Dean, either. Problem is, he has to keep him, at least until the investigation into the double murder is closed. Owned by an Alpha who’d much rather get rid of him? Dean doesn’t think it bodes well for him.
A story in which Dean’s expectations get shattered because Castiel turns out to be unlike any Alpha he’s ever met, and in which Castiel figures out that the rules can’t answer every question and sometimes you have to make it up as you go.

Summary
Castiel doesn’t know where the runaway in Dean has gone, but he’s not sure that man exists anymore. The omega in his backseat has been badly broken. He hasn’t said a word to Castiel; hasn’t protested aside from flinching, hasn’t even pleaded to be spared. He’s just… empty. Tired. Summary
He sucks in a breath and closes his eyes. He feels his blue twitch again, almost impatiently. He leaves his brown eye closed as he opens his blue eye. It's brighter, more blue than his normal, grayer blue. His vision shifts and he no longer sees the shadows he's hidden himself in. He sees many men, standing around. His vision follows, moving through the men and looking around, as if searching for something. Or someone. Sihtric gasps as he recognizes Tekil. His other eye snaps open and the trance is broken. His blue eye dulls back to its original blue-gray and he can see his shadows again.
Or a soulmate AU in which you see through one of the eyes of your soulmate and can see what they see. The boys have been seeing each other for years before they met. But one of their number has been dark for the past few years and the other two finally meet and are determined to save him. But then they are separated and fate thrusts one into the arms of their missing one. Meanwhile, things don't go well for the one left behind.
