Air Groove and Symboli Rudolf working together and eventually falling for each other during the latter part of Groove's career. I only depict sadness or darkness with the intent of showing how things might be able to exist in spite of it, but this will eventually be a romance first and foremost. After all, the world that they want to build for umamusume doesn't need to be built if there isn't a potential for problems, and they won't need to be lifted up if they aren't ever down.
Takes place in a post-Cinderella Gray spinoff AU I've contrived with inspiration by a few actual events from real life. May reference some events from CinGray but I'll try to keep it ambiguous and vague. If I've done it right then, in a lot of cases, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference between something from it and something I just made up unless you've already been exposed to it.
