Summary
Ty Lee has known since she was going to die ever since she was 12, watching the Firelord burn his only son's face. That day, Mai had whispered about how much she hated Ozai, and Ty Lee knew. Mai would die for Zuko, and Ty Lee would die for Mai, and the Fire Nation would burn them all up until there wasn't even ash left. So when Mai stood in front of Azula, treasonous and brave, knives at the ready, Ty Lee knew that this was it. Someone was going to die today. And all Ty Lee knew was that she wasn't going to let it be Mai.

Summary
Whatever your soulmate writes, you can read on your own skin. A bond always connects four people. The “perfect” bond, they say, links one person from each of the four nations.
But the Air Nomads are gone. No wonder Zuko’s bond doesn’t include one.
It’s a shame there isn’t anyone from the Fire Nation, either.
Or: Zuko, Sokka, Suki, and Yue are soulmates. Zuko ignores the bond. Then, Yue learns who their missing soulmate is, and Zuko decides Sokka and Suki must never know.

Summary
They gravitated towards Zuko whenever the temperature dipped even slightly. At night, he often woke to someone pulling their bedroll towards him, or slipping under his arm, or turning over in their sleep and colliding with his shoulder.
It alarmed him, at first. It had never been a good thing when someone woke him in the dead of the night.
It was strange, then, that he was on the run without Uncle, officially a traitor to his homeland, and for the first time since his mother left, he woke in the night sandwiched between bodies, feeling safe.
(Zuko becomes the group's heat-pack.)
