Summary
"I used to be an idol." And at Jisung’s silent surprise, he went on. "Not from your generation. I debuted at seventeen, you might not even have been born yet." And if that wasn’t the perfect reminder for Jisung to not forget that Minho was, in fact, much older than him. Eighteen years.
"You said used to—what happened?" Jisung asked, because even though he knew an idol’s career had a limited lifespan—and that most careers peaked and declined after military service—Minho was still handsome enough to have successfully redirected his career if age had really been the problem. Minho could have easily become an actor, or at least a model.
"Ah, I got injured." Minho replied with a faint smile, and under the table, Jisung could tell he was gently tapping his left knee. "A fractured kneecap.”Jisung pressed his lips together, hoping Minho couldn’t read pity in his eyes. Because that wasn’t what he wanted to give him. Compassion, yes—but not pity.
Or: Through a series of events, Jisung finds refuge for a weekend in Minho's house, a former idol who revels in mountains' solitude. Together, they learn to not be alone anymore.

Summary
Jisung decided that the summer before he starts college needs to be memorable. He asks his vacation home neighbor for help.
Maybe Jisung’s undeniably bright energy was what kept Minho steady all summer. It was almost as if he shone brightly enough for both of them, enough to carve light into the dark. Except Minho knew he couldn’t live on borrowed light forever. Besides, he had already burned out long ago.

Three boys, one apartment, zero survival instincts.
Minho is doing his best not to murder the new roommate with cutlery.
Jisung is doing his best to survive an ever-growing list of apartment rules he somehow breaks just by existing.
Hyunjin is doing his best to pretend that inviting a third roommate in won’t make their whole life implode.
Roommates AU with too much pining, weaponized free dinners, terrible decisions in love, and one very patient neighbor who did not sign up to feed an entire building.

Minho bans Jisung from touching him ever again. One small problem: Jisung really, really wants to.

Summary
Minho watched Jisung take a bite of his food. Minho loved every tiny detail about Jisung. His big, round eyes, his nose that’s slightly curved, his chubby cheeks that fill up even when he takes the smallest bite of food, his gummy smile in the shape of a heart. The way he took a sip of his juice after a bite of his food to make it easier to chew.
They couldn’t imagine life without the other, and they didn’t want to. Jisung thinks that he would probably die if Minho left him somehow, like how a swan dies after losing a loved one– but Minho always reassured him that he would never leave, and Jisung knew that Minho would never lie to him.
(Or, Minho gets lung cancer and eventually passes. Jisung can't handle it.)
