“Play these fucking games with Bonnet. Do your little role play and wear your stupid little costumes.”
Stomping close, Izzy flicks at the bell beneath Ed’s chin, snatches the blindfold back and puts it on him, tight and tangled in his hair.
“Pretend to be blind and deaf and fucking dumb. But you’re not dumb, Eddie.”
Ed sighs. Last time Izzy called him that he was holding a gun. His breathing was dull and laboured, and his hands shook. The barrel rattled as the sea lapped lazily at the hull, tonguing them loose like a rotten tooth.

Summary
When Harry decides to run away from number 12 Grimmauld Place, Snape must go after him. Before he can bring him back they are attacked and Snape loses his cover as Dumbledore's spy. Now seriously injured and unable to return to Hogwarts, there's only one place for him to hide. Sirius Black is about to get a new house guest.
