Summary
Every now and then, he’d get lost in her.
It didn’t always happen. And even when it did, it hadn’t really mattered.
She was… Everything, lately. Everything, and everywhere.
Brendon liked Emma. He’d have no problem accepting that in front of her, or anyone who bothered to ask, really. They’d kept it quiet, mostly because they weren’t really a thing, but also because it was simpler. Sure, they hadn’t talked about that either, but there was no reason to. It was the smarter choice, the better option, specially given how flimsy things were, or seemed to be.
He was also certain he didn’t want Emma to see other people. He hadn’t asked her if she was, and had simply trusted what his gut told him, thinking a girl like her would never see more than one man at a time, specially when she was already seeing him. Sure, that was his ego talking, but their schedules barely allowed them to see each other… So, realistically, when would she see anybody else? And why would she want to, when he was already so eager to sleep with her?
And yet, the answers were missing. Not only of those questions, but to many others than Brendon Park wasn’t sure he wanted to know the answers of.

Summary
In another world, in a different universe, our beloved characters strip away from their knowledge in medicine, even if they are just as troubled... Perhaps even a little more troubled, actually. They’re still teachers, students, bosses and subordinates. Sort of. Kind of. The same people, but different. Different, but still the same.
In this world, things don’t get easier, or simpler, or any less intense. Things are just… Shifted. Stirred up. Complicated.
But it all boils down to love, as it always does. After all, there has to be a reason why Autumn is also called Fall.
OR
Alternative Universe where our characters are English Literature teachers, students and majors.

Summary
The feeling of this soft skin made her mind quickly remember everything that had happened last night. She blushed before even opening her eyes, as all the images kept arriving, nonstop. Was it silly of her, if she giggled? Maybe, but that was not the real reason why she kept it together.
Brendon, the owner of that amazingly smooth skin, was sleeping next to her. Well, next to was a rather unfair description. They were tangled together in arms, legs, and bodies. His arms were around her lower back, and her hands had held onto his neck and shoulders. Their legs were so mixed with one another, that Emma smiled as she thought the she couldn’t truly determine where his body ended and hers begun.
Having a logical or rational thought was proving to be a difficult task, but Emma tried nonetheless. It was strange. She liked it, but wasn’t sure he would. And yet, she did not move, because being as close as they were, moving probably meant waking him up. And she wanted to make use of that vital time, when he looked so peaceful and unguarded. It reminded her why she had begun to like him, in the first place.

Summary
Dr. Park had offered Emma to meet at his house. They had taken the mature decision of talking about it. Not right after, but some days later.
It was a conversation that needed to happen sooner or later, Emma admitted. They had to decide where this was going to, moving forwards. The whole thing in his office had been… Exciting. But it couldn’t happen again. Not like that.
“You asked me not to pinch your nipple last time, but biting was allowed,” Brendon asked after taking a sip, and Emma felt how his eyes lingered on her breasts a bit too long. She squirmed in her seat. “Explain that.”
What an interesting first question, Emma thought, internally screaming.

Summary
Emma wasn’t really sure how they’d ended up this way.
She felt his big hands take ownership the skin under her scrubs as she thought about it. His fingers pressed against her hips, relaxed in her skin, then pressed again. He had pushed her slightly back the moment he realised that putting her right on top of his erection had freaked her out a bit. He had contained himself, and even so, he was still too much.

Summary
“Fuck.” It's so pained, she swears she tastes his blood in the air.
“Jack.” Emma wets her lips so the blood can settle on them. Paint them red. “I want you to always come back to me.”
“I already do,” he pushes out, his calloused thumb indenting the soft fat of her cheek.
“Then come for me, Jack—”

Summary
“Say you got married,” Robby found himself asking. “Would you wear your dress blues? Or civilian clothes?”
It had only been an idle thought, no different than any number of easy, directionless musings of the sort that often came over the two of them on mornings like this one, when no one had a shift to go to for at least thirty-six hours. Robby didn’t mean anything by it. But he regretted the words the instant they left his mouth, even before he saw the incredulous grin slide over Jack’s face.

Summary
“I haven’t really been to a wedding where I’ve, uh… let loose. But, hey,” Dennis shrugged, “maybe I’m doing it wrong.”
“If I hadn’t already agreed to go to this conference, I’d offer to go with you,” Robby said casually. “Show you how it’s done. I’ve got a good track record as a plus-one, too.” Dennis had to say something. To interrupt. To shut this down. But what was he supposed to say? No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”
And just like that, the bubble popped.
“I’m not gay,” Dennis snapped.
He had never hated the sound of his own voice as much as he did right then.
---
Or, Dennis is anxiously headed home for a "wedding" in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the details of which are increasingly fuzzy. Robby's got a medical conference in Omaha that same weekend. So they carpool. Seventeen hours both ways in an enclosed space with no way out except a tuck and roll. This'll go great.- Language:
