Still sore from birth, she stood, legs shaking, but her spirit unbroken.
Jungkook scoffed, “Why are you being so p*ssy, huh?”
Her eyes lifted. Cold. Changed. “Is this what you wanted? To break me?” she asked bitterly.
She walked to Mrs. Jeon, Jungkook’s mother, whose fake shock faltered, and took Rion from her arms, steady hands burning with fire.
The baby calmed instantly against her chest.
“You don’t get to touch my baby anymore,” she said, voice low and terrifying. “You don’t deserve to.”
