Enid wakes up after a night in her alpha wolf form with a dead body, she panics and tries to hide it only to realize she's being watched. For her own private reasons Wednesday steps up to help her.
Enid quickly realizes at more is going on than she thought Wednesday is holding a lot back including psychic premonitions and the true nature of the reserve she finds herself on

Almost before Enid can express her distaste for another boy at the moment. They reveal the date would in fact be with a girl.
When Enid doesn't dismiss the idea outright Wednesday decides Enid doesn't trust her and the best means to fix this is to discover the mystery girls name.
Bianca, Divina and Yoko aren't about to make this easy for her. If Wednesday wants to know she's going to have to work for it

Summary
"As the new school year settles into familiarity, I find myself unwillingly surrounded by an entourage of deluded individuals claiming to be my friends. The aforementioned individuals commonly display behaviours which I find intolerable at best. This is unacceptable. However, for reasons unknown, my threats of violence are quickly losing their effectiveness at dissuading such unwanted behaviour. In light of this, I've decided to attempt a different approach: instead of reprimanding what I consider bad behaviour, I will reward what I consider good behaviour."
Enid shook her head. "Wednesday, do you really think that's gonna--"
Wednesday held up a gold-star sticker. Enid let her sentence trail off and stared, baffled.
Slowly, Wednesday peeled it from the backing and stuck it onto Enid's cheek.
"Blissful silence,” Wednesday said. “It's working already."

Summary
Wednesday couldn't think of a sure way to prevent Enid from shifting into a werewolf but she was Enid's pack. Therefore it was her duty to stay with her even if the worst case scenario happened. Besides she also wanted to make up for all those times she pushed Enid away. This could be a good opportunity to prove herself as a worthy and loyal member of Enid's pack.
