Summary
It’s been many years since they had seen the Earth. The beautiful blue planet they called home.
The fact was, it was no longer beautiful or blue. The human race had taken that from the planet. People were beginning to suffer and they could feel it.
With no more time left the kinder of the humans constructed a large ship to sail what was left of their people through the stars. Hopefully to somewhere brighter and where their children’s children could grow up not knowing the fear of desolation and hunger.
With the last of the human population traveling in a cold sleep the ship's responsibilities were left to the immortal nations. It was proven that they could live far longer than the people expected even without the land that represented them, so with the maintenance, organization, and navigation left to the nations, the ship took off.
The ones left behind gave the nations one final mission. Find a new planet to call home, and keep the next generation safe. The nations took that to heart and watched in sorrow as their people were left to rot on a dying planet.
