There were many perks that came with dating Rumi, but one of Mira’s favorites was getting to sleep in late while wrapped around each other. The Rumi of years past would never have entertained lounging of all things, but here she was, sprawled lazily atop Mira. Rumi was unfairly pretty in the morning light, with soft features and even softer eyes just for Mira.

Summary
After the Idol Awards, after the demon king, after Rumi sang them all back from the edge, Huntrix is supposed to be healing.
Mira tells the truth. Rumi tells the truth. Zoey lies.
Because Zoey remembers exactly what the demon king said to her, and she doesn’t know how to admit that part of her still believes it.
So, she starts disappearing instead. Clubs, bars, bad nights, worse decisions, and a solo offer that looks an awful lot like an exit. Meanwhile, Mira is convinced Zoey hasn’t forgiven her for what happened under the demon king’s control, and Rumi is terrified Zoey is pulling away because she’s part demon.
Nobody is communicating well. Everybody is in love. And because of it, the penthouse has never been more haunted.
