Summary
Over 5 years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, Harry Potter finds himself an open spot as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Much to Harry’s surprise, Malfoy started laughing. It wasn’t a joyful laugh. It was the kind of evil, smug laugh he always imagined Malfoy having. “Oh, Potter. This is too much. Did you finally see it? After all these years? Did you finally have an off-script thought?”
“What do you know about it?” Harry asked, shrugging off Malfoy’s hand.
Malfoy’s shoulders were still shaking with condescending mirth. “You really have no idea, do you?” he asked.
Harry repeated himself, “What. Is. It.” It wasn’t a question; it was a command.
“It’s the ‘rator.” Malfoy finally replied, still catching his breath.

In short: Malfoy holds all the cards. If Harry wants to find out about the ‘rator, and keep his dream of being an auror, he’s going to have to spend a lot more time with him.
