Hungry, honeyed eyes ogled their prey, and glossy lips whispered sweet trappings to catch the man.
Verdant pupils inspected the marvel before him, starved for its latest catch. Keen hips stepped between the elegant legs spread out on the seat, beckoning into her wilderness. Sable strands, coiled against his head, brushed her cheek as his mouth captured the shell of his bronze ear.'
Jealousy is a viper, venom thick with possession, pain, and longing. With its fangs sunk into Vex’ahlia and Percy, the poison has now taken control of their thoughts and emotions. Vex cannot understand where these emotions came from, why she wanted to fuck him into oblivion. Percy completely understands where his heart lies, but will never act, for he knows his own worth.
Combine the two, and it makes for a wretched night out.

After figuring out her feelings in a life-and-death situation, Vex'ahlia doesn't wish to get her hopes up and tries to come to terms with her relationship with Percy. The idea that they could only ever be friends and nothing more did hurt, but she could live with it.
It's hard though, to not feel hopeful, when the man in question asks her out to dinner on fucking Valentine's Day! Will Vex accept the reality of their circumstance, or is there more brewing beneath the surface between them?
