Ian’s been back on campus for three days, but the long weekend before classes started clearly wasn’t enough. One day in and he already has two essays to write and a lengthy problem set to solve before Wednesday. Everyone said sophomore year was a bitch—and it was—but junior year just might kill him.
He pushes open the glass doors of the South Campus Library and rolls out his neck, his backpack slung over one very tense shoulder. At least this part isn’t new. Ian knows these hallowed halls—all five of them—better than he knows just about anything.

Summary
This is old, I took it down when I was in a bad mood, but Kfritz7162 requested that I put it back up and I guess I'm feeling the holiday spirit :) I don't remember it well enough to give proper warnings or tags, or even a good summary.
After Svetlana and Ian kill Terry when Terry attempts to correctively rape Mickey via Svetlana, Ian ends up in jail, Svetlana runs, and Mickey joins the Marines to get out of the Southside. When Mickey is injured and medically discharged, he spirals for awhile then fate brings him right back to Ian. And they work their shit out.

Summary
Recently released from prison on a manslaughter charge, Mickey Milkovich isn't looking for anything messy. He's had enough messes for a life time, with prison, his piece of shit dad, and his drugged-up brothers. He just wants to work forty hours per week to keep his PO off his back and make sure his little sister doesn't have another breakdown. Keeping his new life as tidy as possible should be easy.
Except there's an annoying red-haired dancer at the club he works at who keeps talking to him, and nothing about Ian Gallagher is tidy.
