Summary
It's been five years since the end of the war, and marriage is the word on everyone's minds. But Katara knows what that really means. First comes marriage, and then children. She has been shackled with the responsibility of carrying on the airbender line before it goes completely extinct--and it's a mantle she has prepared herself well to take on. She loves Aang, and being a crucial part of history together...well, it's something she is honored to do by his side.
That is, until memories and dreams start resurfacing as she barrels towards a future alongside the Avatar. And on the night of her wedding, she finds herself starting to spiral just a little. And only Zuko is there to comfort her.
Meanwhile, the Fire Council has enforced an age-old law upon Zuko: marry by age 21 or forfeit the throne. One too many assassination attempts has them all feeling a bit nervous, and they want to guarantee the royal line. Zuko has resigned himself to a dull, loveless arranged marriage for the good of his nation.
But then he and Katara are brought back together unexpectedly, forced to work alongside one another. And it quickly becomes impossible to forget what happened between them and the secrets they swore to keep.

Summary
Maybe it was because they had been circling this possibility since the moment Zuko first appeared at the air temple. Maybe it was because the world was quite possibly on the cusp of ending, and these last scattered days might be their only chance. Maybe it was a joke the universe was playing on them, a twisted, desperate bid for some semblance of cosmic balance as the scales began to tip.
Whatever it was, Zuko and Katara couldn’t keep their hands off one another.
OR
Zuko and Katara on Ember Island given free rein to be horny twenty somethings and make a series of increasingly irresponsible decisions as is their Agni-given right.

Summary
For a second, Katara is helpless. No bending, no running, not when she’s trying to pull air into her lungs, feeling the world spin nauseatingly around her.
That’s all Zuko needs.
He pins her with a truly insulting ease, grabbing her wrists to hold both down, and she is well and truly caught. She glares up at him – he is soaked from the water she has been throwing at him, but his golden eyes are glaring right back at her, and there’s that sneering curl to his lip that makes her want to dump half the ocean on his head.
He leans down and she can feel the heat of his breath in her ear.
“Leaving so soon?” he hisses.

OR: Zuko captures Katara, and imprisons her on his ship to use as bait to try to capture Aang.
No plan truly survives contact with the enemy. And this plan… goes absolutely sideways.

Summary
After four years of traveling with Aang, Katara disappears. Not long after, word comes to the Fire Lord that a female Blue Spirit is performing healing miracles in his kingdom. It doesn't take Zuko long to put two Blue Spirits together.
