In a world like this, kindness is a commodity. Metallic structures and spilled blood mix with trashed cigarette boxes and booze. Being alive is a luxury, one Player (That is his legal name) took for granted. After getting himself knee deep in debt with shady people, he finds himself in desperate need for some cash. With his luck, he found his golden ticket in the form of a flier.
‘Win up to 70,000 grand. Life or death game.’
Enough to take him out of debt and start a new life. Player finds himself at a nightclub, going against someone he only heard rumors about - The Dealer.
Gameplay ensues, but what does life or death even entail when you can’t seem to die?

Both of them are looking for an escape. When Daisy learns that Tom is cheating on her she reaches out to Nick for help, switching places with him in order to meet Tom's mistress.

Zelda didn’t think, didn’t hesitate; she just leapt for Link, reaching desperately for his hand as her own began to glow. She’d protected herself and the Brigade from a cataclysmic fall like this once, she could do it again, weakened powers be damned. She needed to save Link. No matter what, she needed to save him. They were getting out of here together, damn it all.
There was a burst of gold in Link’s pocket (the teardrop!) and it spread outwards in waves of glitter. The gold encased his entire body, the Triforce of Courage blazed with all the power of the sun, their fingers brushed and then, in one last blast of light-
