Summary
“I bring life.”
The words faded but the warmth stayed, growing hotter and hotter until every fibre of his being was screaming. It was like being exterminated all over again, only this time in reverse. Once again, the pain spiralled across his body through synapses and veins. His entire body felt like it was on fire, being dragged through burning coals. It was getting more concentrated, reigning itself in until his fingers and toes were just tingling with numbness and the fire centred itself in his abdomen, burning him from the inside, right where he had been shot.
He inhaled sharply, and the fire was doused.
He was alive.
NOTE: This fic is unfinished. However, a final chapter has been uploaded with a summary of all that was intended to be written.

Summary
It took him a second to realise what had happened; what had felt like hours while travelling through the rift shrunk itself in his head to a mere instant of searing gold. That’s when the flicker of the fire in front of him finally registered through his confused daze. In his haste to get away from the flames around him, he slipped and fell, scrambling back until he was a safe distance away from the smoke and the heat. It was only then that he took notice of the voices behind him. He turned towards the noise of a deep, northern voice spluttering and saying, confused and almost angry:
“Who the hell are you?”
The man rolled over onto his knees and stood up, looking around like he’d never seen a street before. “Jones.” He sounded uncertain but then spoke again with more confidence. “Ianto Jones.”

A series of one-shots, written in 2019 post-s1, in an AU where Gabriel and Raphael are brothers tasked with Creation, while Aziraphale and Ithuriel are lower-ranking angels with no less of a role in shaping the Universe.
Of course, this is all before the War, and before Ithuriel and Raphael join the first league of fallen angels in Hell.

Obviously, you turn to the dubious world of short-term vacation rentals.
The resulting Airbnb property has been variously described as "an instagram trap," "a vampire den but make it botanical," and "the weirdest bed and breakfast in the shared history of beds and breakfasting."

“For you!” Julian cried, shoving a fistful of weeds in Renfri’s direction, his smile wide and carefree.
Renfri carefully took them in her hands that were only shaking a little bit now, smearing red onto green stems and yellow petals.Julian clambered into the bed beside her and crawled halfway onto her lap. “I got you flowers, ‘cause you’re so pretty like them!”
“These aren’t flowers, they’re weeds.” Renfri told him, rolling her eyes but allowing the contact with ease. Somedays it seemed like Julian was the only person in the entire castle who wasn’t afraid of her.
“They look like flowers.” He said, crinkling his nose.
“They’re dandelions,” Renfri informed her brother with a tiny smile, “They grow everywhere, even places they perhaps shouldn’t. That’s why they’re a weed.”
“Perhaps they’re a little like you,” She teased, “Growing in even the scariest of places with no fear.” Like a monster’s heart, she doesn’t say.
“Like a superpower!” Julian gasped.
Renfri separated one dandelion from the little clutch and reached out to tuck it behind a little ear. “For the stubborn hero, Jaskier.”

In the end, it’s not a difficult choice at all. She isn’t stupid enough to believe herself capable of besting a Witcher (and it’s painfully clear that he will feel obligated to stop her). Above all else, Renfri has only ever wanted to live.
