It starts, as most disasters do, with bad timing.

Asakura Shin can read every mind he has ever encountered. Every secret. Every ugly thought people think they've buried deep enough that no one will ever find them. He has spent his entire life knowing too much and being known by no one.
Nagumo Yoichi's mind is the only one that has ever been silent.
He is also, by every available metric, the most dangerous variable Shin has ever had the misfortune of being unable to ignore. He shows up at the shop with no good reason and stays too long. When Shin runs, he follows. Neither of them is sure why yet.
Shin tells himself it's annoying. He's wrong, and he knows it, and he keeps telling himself anyway.
Nagumo tells himself he has it under control. He is also wrong.
Everyone around them is exhausted.Still waters run deep.

Some people can't understand the pain behind in their feelings, is not for a psychological condition or something like that, it's because they can't correctly identify how they feel because they never learned how to.
the upbringing you received is essentially to reach the maturity and your perspective, but when your childhood was destroyed, your adolescence was covered with blood and loneliness, it's very difficult to learn how to feel.
Maybe Shin doesn't have experience in love, he never learned about that even thanks to his telepathy he knows about housewife or househusband thinking about what to prepare to their beloveds.
Shin maybe can't understand his feelings, but he can understand others, moving forward is important, just as understand your surroundings and life is even more so.
