Vi turned her head over her shoulder, the simple image of her girlfriend being home making her smile wide, and bright. “Hey, babe!” She turned back to her task, continuing the repeated dragging motions of her right hand, using a wooden spoon to smush the goop against (and through) the perforations in the strainer. “You ever heard of kefir?” She lifted the strainer up with her left hand – keeping it over the funnel as she swiped the spoon along the underside, causing the thick residue to drip down into the jar.
“Kefir? …” Caitlyn’s brain was still reeling at the fact that her partner was, in fact, not masturbating at her father’s dinner table. “No, I…I don’t believe I have…” Her hands still clutched her sack close to her chest, and she took the last two steps closer, allowing herself to peer over Vi’s shoulder at the filtration occuring – honestly, of all places – in Vi’s lap. “Is that like a yoghurt?”

Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

"I'll stitch you up when you are back to consciousness" she mumbled, completely wrapped up in the dressing of the wound. So much so that she did not notice the voice that addressed her, at first.
A female voice with a very distinct American accent. The voice sounded exhausted, parched, low, but strong.
"If you're talking to me, you're going to have to speak English sweetheart"
Caitlyn's eyes widened as she looked up from dressing the wound and cerulean eyes found the greyest ones she had ever seen, sending a rush through her that she was unfamiliar with.
Then, Caitlyn spoke.
English this time, laced with a light French accent.
"I told you your wound would need to be stitched up when you were to wake" she simply informed her, ignoring how heart her started pounding yet again.
