Summary
“… What do you guys… do?” Nathan mumbled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly, though a bit touched by the amiable term. Feeling his hair touch his knuckles, he made a mental note to cut it when he got the chance.
“We search. Our group has been searching for generations upon generations, and now, we’re closer than ever. We are the key, you see…” he stepped forward, fingertips delicately resting against the photograph, “and He is the lock.”

Summary
Abaddon, a selkie without his coat, meets a man named Nathan on his 300 year long quest to find his coat whom he grows attached to. The story follows Abaddon struggling with his inability to return to the sea and Nathan struggling to find enjoyment in his life after he moved to Ireland to run this cursed hotel.
Or: Abaddon is a selkie, ghosts are cryptids, and the hotel is now in middle of nowhere Ireland. Also Nathan’s depressed (what’s new.)
