It was the leader; towering man, the lord that her gaze settled on.
As if feeling her eyes on him, the man lifted his head and turned toward the window. Dark hair curled about his shoulders, and she knew that a smirk was on his lips. He’d told her once, that he always knew when she was watching. “How?” She’d asked, and he’d taken her hand in his, pressing it against his heart.
“I feel you here,” he’d replied, in his straightforward way, and they’d both laughed at the utterly sweet sincerity of it. She felt her own heart flutter, as it often did when he spoke to her; more than anyone else could imagine. She’d never had another say the things that he told her, nor mean them as he did.

Viktor's hand moved from the shelf to hover near her face, not quite touching. "Tell me to stop," he said, his voice strained. "Tell me you do not vant this, and I vill walk away."
This was it. She could step back, laugh it off, pretend this was all just the result of too much alcohol and an emotionally charged evening. She could return to her safe, predictable life in London, to her important work at the Ministry and her comfortable routine.
Or she could take a leap into the unknown.

Summary
The post that prompted this fic started off as follows: "Okay So, It’s The Boy, But If MC Was Aware They Were In The Movie And Also A Slasher Fucker", and that's basically what this is. It's in the tags but I'll repeat it: MC is like part OC part reader insert part self insert.
MC wakes up in the taxi at the start of the movie, quickly realizes she is following the timeline of the film in a parallel universe, and that she has taken Greta's place as MC. At first she works to adhere to the timeline where she can to keep things flowing as they should, and then, of course, she completely derails it.
