   Summary

   Francesca has lived as a secret alpha for her entire adult life - using herbs to repress her alpha instincts. She'd thought she'd found safety and comfort in the arms of John Stirling, but his tragic death stole that away from her. To make matters worse, his cousin, Michaela, is an omega who makes her feel excited and scared for reasons she cannot explain. When Michaela is named the new Lady Kilmartin and announces her intention to return to London, Francesca flees back to her brother's home and sets herself onto the marriage mart.

   But of course, masking as a beta will not be as easy for Francesca as it was the first time, and complications quickly arise when her Majesty threatens to select a more "refined" diamond for the season.
