Childe had walked among others as an Alpha, bearing the mark of a soulmate that in his eyes, no longer existed. Once his feet have stepped in Liyue, it seemed like none of those things mattered— content with having a single consultant take up his mind. Not knowing there would be more in store for him.

Childe was sent to Inazuma with the goal of bringing his body back up to its prime condition. But to do that he has to go through a bathhouse where, coincidentally, he is also staying; there is where he finds a pellicular owner whose intentions are more shrouded in mystery than the fact that Zhongli keeps coming into his dreams during his stay there. Although, somewhere along the way, Childe wonders if it is all a dream.
