I didn't even start reading it but I'm already scared with the tags so I'm wishing my future-self good luck
Finished chapter 2 and I'm having troubles with the writing style; the constant ping-pong with the past, and the fact that is bringed up with and old diary but merged with convos like a present thing, is just not my favorite. But ofc I'm not gonna drop it
Starting chapter 5 and I'm in a constant ???? Why???? What???? WHY? Just wtf, I swear my face must be hilarious while reading this. Ch7 and still the same, plus confirming word after word that Gee's a dumbass, completely oblivious to fricking everything, use your brain, sweet thing
Well, end of 10 and maybe I'm starting to like it, but I'm still skeptical
Fucking 11 chapters of slow-burn and I felt I could tear up plus heat up for the same yearning, fucking hot

Finishing ch19 and I think current Gerard infuriates me because they kinda remind me of my younger self, wich is pretty sad.
Ch23 had me considering the possibility of me not being able to finish this. It's so hard to describe, but the feelings are so heavy, so dense, makes me feel so bad that it's almost on the edge of not enjoying it (and honestly, that's the same reason I can't read that many chapters in a row). But I'm yet refusing to do so, maybe I just keep pushing until the end breaks me and let a "do not read again" tag
Okay, and now ch24, I just wanna k myself, because I can't even feel happy with a happy moment, BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT HAPPY, it just HURTS, the sweetest line made me stop and breath so no tears will fall FROM SADNESS!!!!!!!! NOT HAPPY EMOTIONAL TEARS, GOD DAMN IT
With ch25 I confirm that I could bawl my eyes out for Frankie because it's just tearing me apart, and that maybe I'm commenting every chapter left
Ch27: At this point I've almost fully accepted that this won't have nothing nearly to a happy ending, and that either Frank or Gerard are gonna die, or both, or every fucking character -

Gerard is a gay single dad, and Frank is recently divorced and also a dad with a ton of dogs. But it’s the first time Frank has ever been with a guy, and I wanted something sweet about him navigating his feelings and figuring it out.
