   Summary

   ​Su Shouyou, the lazy and pampered son of the wealthy Marquis Su Muyu and the secret assassin patriarch Su Changhe, tries to avoid his responsibilities at the Imperial Exam.

   Hua Yong the feared 7th Prince and "God of War" known as the Butcher of the North.

   Seeing only Hua Yong's handsome face and slender figure, Shouyou mistakes the deadly general for a delicate, lonely merchant's son.

   Smitten by Hua yong, Shouyou aggressively courts him, boasting of his wealth and promising protection from "ruffians," completely unaware he is talking to the most dangerous man in the empire.
