Angel doesn't move. He doesn't know how long he kneels there, holding Aki's face as the color drains from it. Angel's fingers feel cold now. His lethal touch, so used to consuming, to depleting, have nothing to take anymore. Aki is empty, all but a husk with a familiar face.

Aki has held back all this time, kept himself on such a tight leash, banished his longing to a dark corner where it could go unnamed and forgotten. He can feel it clawing at his insides as he moves even closer, throwing caution to the wind. He kneels in front of Angel, head bowed as he falls forward, arms snaking around Angel's legs and forehead coming to rest against Angel's thighs in surrender.
