Summary
Erik very nearly finished University. But his parents' untimely deaths derail all of his plans for the future, and in a desperate bid to escape the ruins of his old life he jumps a train and unintentionally runs away with the circus. As he becomes more and more involved with the troupe's going-ons, Erik unearths the darker side of the world of traveling performers.
